Getting a refrigeration or air conditioning compressor back into the system correctly and proving it runs — from pressure testing and charging through to start-up and operating-parameter analysis.
A rebuilt compressor is only as good as the start-up behind it. Commissioning is where the operating parameters get verified and written down — so that if the unit is questioned in six months, there is a document showing exactly how it was running the day it went back.
